Welcome to the Space Coast Ballet Academy - official school of the Space Coast Ballet. Space Coast Ballet Academy (SCBA) offers the best ballet training available anywhere. Over 9,000 sq ft. of space in a state-of-the-art facility with four big, bright studios equipped with Harlequin Marley floors identical to those in the New York City Ballet and ABT studios.

Enrollment
SCBA classes are traditionally smaller so that students can benefit from individual attention. Ballet classes are taught in the classical Vaganova method, and in three Divisions that encompass all age levels. Each student is placed in the class and level most appropriate for his/her development.
Faculty
All faculty members are experienced professionals and under the artistic direction of Janna Kirova and Boris Cheplev. International guest teachers and choreographers from RUSSIA, GERMANY and USA assist with Workshops and Master Classes.

Classes
Mommy & Me (Toddlers / Pre-School)
This class is specially designed to excite the little ones and teach them the fundamentals
of co-ordination and self-expression through dance. To be taken with an adult.
Le Petit Division (Elementary to Pre-Professional)
PRIMARY: Provides students with a wide range of dance training that includes ballet, tap, and gymnastics .
PRIMARY I & PRIMARY II: Students are introduced to barre and the basic movements of classical ballet, jazz and lyrical. Acting for Dance also available in this division.
Pre-Professional Division
LEVEL I: Intensity of study increases. Exercises lengthen and more complicated movements are introduced. Students whose technique and body are strong enough begin pointe work.
LEVEL II and LEVEL III: Classical ballet technique increases in difficulty. Pointe work lengthens in duration and students learn variations from selected classical ballets. Also included in this division are upbeat Jazz/Hip-Hop classes that encourage personal expression and are intended to create a combination of coordination and style with an emphasis on isolated movements and jumps.
Boy’s Class
Although ballet is typically considered a feminine sport, this class develops boys in their unique, indispensable and masculine classical ballet roles. Emphasis on strength, agility, partnering and stage combat.
Adult Open Division
For mature individuals of all levels, beginner to advanced. Class cards are offered for ease in scheduling, and discounts are available for multiple class cards.

- Yoga: 5,000 year-old practice taught in the Iyengar Style.
- Ballroom: Amaze your friends! Full program of fun & easy dances such as Waltz, Foxtrot & Swing that are perfect for all social occasions.
- Pilates: Strengthen, lengthen and tone the entire body.
